Kent Beer Festival -
19th-21st July, with more than 100 different real ales and tasty
ciders, held each year at Canterbury's Merton Farm
Whitstable Oyster
Festival 21st -27th July
Canterbury
Festival - 13th-27th October the biggest
and most popular cultural event in the whole of Kent, lasting
two weeks and also known as the Kent's International Arts
Festival. Part of this festival includes the Artists Open House
Trails where artists show their work in their houses and
studios, on the last 3 weekends in Oct.

is justly famous for its amazing sunsets, its native oysters,
small shops and working harbour.

Around the area
Whitstable is is only 60 miles east of London and 6 miles from
the historic city of Canterbury with all its attractions and
arguably the most famous cathedral in the country outside
London.
There are a wealth of attractions in the area and around the
Kent coast. Many gardens and visitor attractions open
